We just dredged an area next to my yard and I was spreading the dirt in my yard when a very old horse shoe turned up. I would like to have someone look at it to determine if it is Civil War era. I live at Canongate Lake.
About 15 years ago I found a large animal bone in the area and thought that it was from a cow. Now I am thinking that it may have been from a horse.
