Gilmer County Bank Ellijay, Ga. March 7 (1901)-(Special) The Gilmer County bank opened for business here this morning at 9 o’clock with John H. Carter, president; Benjamin S. Holden, Cashier, and Charles A. Allen, assistant cashier and bookkeeper. The first deposit was made by T. H. Tabor, who also drew the first check.

$500 Reward I hereby offer a Reward of Five Hundred Dollars for the apprehension, with proof sufficient to convict the party and his accomplices who assassinated my husband, William P. Milton, in Ellijay, Georgia, on the night of the 16th of April last, by shooting him through the window of his dining room, while at his supper table. This 17th day of June, 1872 Signed by Nancy C.
