GEORGIA, CLARKE COUNTY-By virtue of authority in me vested in a decree of the Superior Court of Clarke County rendered on October 26th, 1893. In the case of M. G. Pope et. al. vs The New Home Building and Loan & Associates et al., I will sell at public outcry before the Court House door in Athens, Clarke County, Georgia, within the legal hours of sale on the first Tuesday in April, 1894. The following property, to wit:

  1. Two shares of the capital stock of the Athens Building and Loan Association standing in the name of J. A. Garebold on the books of said Association. Sold to satisfy the amount decreed against said Garebold in the decree above mentioned of $98 principal with interest from May 29, 1890.
  2. A tract of land in Jackson County, Georgia containing 55 acres, more or less, adjoining the lands of James Dottery, Jesse Johnson and Lum Williams; and a tract of land in Jackson County, Georgia, containing 51 acres more or less adjoining lands of Parks, Shackelford, Dottery and others. Said two tracts being more fully described in a deed from Jesse Johnson to said Association, recorded in the Clerk’s office of Jackson County, in Book W, pp 412 and 413 to be sold as the property of Jesse Johnson to satisfy the amount decreed against him in the decree above mentioned of $880 principal, with interest from May 29, 1890, and 10 per cent, attorney’s fees.
  3. A tract of land in Madison County, Georgia, containing 100 acres, more or less, adjoining the lands of Meadows Smith, Bradbury, Matthews, Hardeman, and Rice, more particularly described in a deed from Susan O. Kellum to said Association, recorded in the Clerk’s offices of Madison County, in Book Q, pp. 282 and 283. To be sold as the property of Susan O. Kellum to satisfy the amount decreed against her in the decree above-mentioned of $860 principal, with interest from May 29, 1890, and 10 per cent, attorneys fees.
  4. A tract of land Athens in Clarke County, Georgia, on Pearl Street, in that part of the city knows as East Athens, bounded on the North by Lum Phinizy; on the East by Pearl Street; on the South and West by Perry Hawkins, being the lot on which Cicero Edwards now resides, fully described in a deed from said Edwards to said Association, dated February 12, 1890. To be sold as the property of Cicero Edwards to satisfy the amount decreed against him in the decree above-mentioned of $160 principal, with interest from May 29th, 1890, and 10 per cent, attorney’s fees.
  5. A tract of land in Clarke County, Georgia, containing 12 acres, more or less, adjoining the land of Yerby, Matthews and others, fully described in a deed from Henry Shaw to said Association, recorded in Clerk’s office of Clarke County, in Book HH, pp. 465 and 466. To be sold as the property of the estate of the said Henry Shaw to satisfy the amount decreed against said estate in the above mentioned decree of $53 principal, with interest from May 29th, 1890, and 10 percent attorney’s fees.
  6. A tract of land in Clarke County, Georgia containing 8 acres composed of three tracts as follows: 1. That tract purchased by J. A. Epps from Ollie Chancey. 2. Two tracts purchased from Aly Gann, full described in a deed from Joseph A. Epps to said Association, dated January 17, 1890. To be sold as the property of Joseph A. Epps to satisfy the amount decreed against him in the decree above-mentioned of $76 principal, with interest from May 29th, 1890, and 10 per cent attorney’s fees.
  7. One hundred (100) shares of the capital stock of the Athens Land Company. Fifty of said shares now standing on the books of said Company in the name of R. B. Russell, and 50 of said shares being the property of F. M. Hughes. To be sold as the property of R. B. Russell and F. m. Hughes to satisfy amount decreed against them in the decree above mentioned of $880 principal, with interest from May 29th, 1890. Terms: Cash.
