Dessie Allen Tatum, 100, died August 24, 1955 in Gilmer County, East Ellijay, GA. Mrs. Tatum was a member of the East Ellijay Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Bramlett, Miss Nell Tatum and Mrs. Mamie Bishop; one son, Sam Tatum; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held August 26, 1955 at the Cartecay Methodist Church.
