  • Williams, Jeremiah- private March 4, 1862. Killed at Resaca, Ga. June 14, 1864.
  • Willis, Pickens E.- private March 4, 1862 . Disabled by disease contracted in service. Detailed in General Hospital December 21, 1862. Pension records show he was discharged, disability, at Dalton, Ga. December 1863, or January 1864. (Born in Ga. March 17, 1830. Died in Dawson County, Ga. November 20,1911)
  • Woodall, Joberry- private March 4, 1862. Captured at Vicksburg, Miss. July 4, 1863. Paroled July 1863. Disabled by accident on train and never returned.
  • Woodall, John- private March 4, 1862. Captured at Vicksburg, Miss. July 4, 1863. Paroled there July 1863. Roll for December 1863, last on file, shows him absent without leave since October 7, 1863. Pension records show he was left in Vicksburg, Miss. hospital, crippled in train wreck, July 1863. (Born in Lumpkin County, Ga. August 5, 1832. Died in Dawson County, Ga. in 1914)
  • Woodatl, Robert- private March 4, 1862. Captured in Vicksburg, Miss. hospital in 1863. Paroled home; never returned.

  1. I have found records that my GG Grandfather, Joseph S Winn was part of this infantry, however his name is not listed. I wonder what I can do to find more information? The story we have heard is that he was captured and became a POW. Thanks!
