It appearing to the Court that to sell the Negroes belong to the Estate of  Wiley Vincent, late of Wilkinson County deceased, will be to the advantage and for the benefit of the said Estate and it appearing also that at least sixty days notice has been given by the administrators of  said Estate of their intended application for leave to sell said negroes in the Federal Union, a News Paper printed at the City of  Milledgeville in said state it is therefore ordered that James C. Bower and Charlotte Vincent administrators on said Estate have leave to sell the following described Negroes belonging to said Estate having first advertised the same for sale agreeable to Law to Wit, Alford a man about thirty years of age & Charles A man about thirty five years old.

Wilkinson County } Winiford Vinson, Caroline Vinson and Charlotte Vinson Orphans of Wiley Vinson late of said County Deceased.
You are hereby Notifyed and Required to be and appear before me the ordinary of said County on the first Monday in December Next by Ten Oclock A.M. Then? & are to show cause if any you have why your Letters of Guardianship should not be revoked on account of your mismanagement in said Guardianship in attempting to abuse mistreat and seduce one of the orphans under your charge to wit the said Winiford Vinson.

Wilkinson County    }  Whereas James Wilkinson Guardian of the Persons & Property of Wiley J. Vinson and Frederick T. Vinson orphans of Wiley Vinson late of said County Deceased did apply at the November Term of this Court 1855 of Ordinary of said County by Petition & supported by his application for leave to resign his said Guardianship on the Ground of nonresidence and a citation having been approved by the Court and published in the Federal Union for Two Months notifying all persons Concerned of said intended application terms of the Law in such cases made and provided and no Good cause being shown to the Contrary and whereas Caleb Stevens has duly applied for the Guardianship of the said Orphans and Minors after citation having been published according to Law it is therefore ordered that the said James Wilkinson be dismissed from his said Guardianship and discharged from all further Liability on account of the same and that said Caleb Stevens be appointed Guardian for the Persons and property for the said Wiley J. and Frederick T. Vinson and that letters do force according by whom his giving Bond & Surety in the sum of Five Hundred Dollars.   Jany. Term 1856.

The Court then adjourned until Court in Course.  January 14th 1856.

Term 1856.  It appearing to the Court that Thomas Gibson Guardian of the Persons & Property of Winiford Vinson & Caroline Vinson and Charlotte Vinson Orphans of Wiley Vinson late of said County deceased has made application to resign his said Guardianship by petition to the Court authenticated by affidavit on the Ground of non residence and that the said Thomas Gibson has notifyed all persons concerned of said application by publishing said notice in the Federal Union a Newspaper published in Milledgeville for the term of Two Months and no cause to the contrary have been shown.  It is ordered that said Thomas Gibson be discharged from his said Guardianship once for all further Liability on acct. of the same.
