Old Chapel Methodist

        Victor Davidson in  History of Wilkinson County says "A Methodist church near the home of J. J. Butler (1930).
Services discontinued about 1858. Among the members were Col. John Smith, Willis Bullock & family."  The church was located on Hwy. 96, south of Irwinton.
