Full Title: To alter and change the name of Seney Crumbley to that of Seney Mitchell, and to make her the legal heir of Isaac Mitchell.
BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and immediately after the passing of this act, the name of Seney Crumbley, the reputed illegitimate daughter of Isaac Mitchell of Wilkinson county, shall be, and the same is hereby altered and changed to that of Seney Mitchell, by which name she shall hereafter be known and called.
§ 2. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That the said Seney Mitchell shall be, and she is hereby put upon an equal footing in law, with the other children of the said Isaac Mitchell, and entitled to the same advantages and privileges in law, as if she were to all intents and purposes the lawfully begotten child of the said Isaac Mitchell, any law, usage or custom to the contrary notwithstanding.

Full Title: AN ACT to change the names of certain persons therein mentioned, and to legitimatise those persons whose names are so changed.
Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and after the passage of this act, that the persons now known by the name of William Greene Dixon, Henry Dixon, and Anna Dixon, of the county of Upson, be changed and known by the names of William [Illegible Text] Reid, Henry Reid, and [Illegible Text] Reid -- and the names of [Illegible Text] M. Fletcher and Naucy Fletcher, of the county of Bulloch, be changed to that of Francis M. Selph and Nancy Selph -- and the name of James Madison Wright of the county of Columbia, be changed to that of James Madison Sullivan -- and the name of Wiley Osteen of the county of Ware, be changed to that of Wiley Roberson -- and the name of Amelia Demaris Hargrove, of Wilkinson county, to that of Amelia Demaris Gilbert -- and the name of Jane H. and Martin Greene Connell, to that of Jane H. and Martin Greene Wood of Pulaski county -- and Ira Reddick Foreman of De Kalb county, to that of Ira Reddick Greer -- and Daniel Marcus of Monroe county, to that of Jefferson Troup Patterson; and that said persons whose names have been so changed, are hereby declared to be legitimatised and entitled to inherit all property which they or any of them would have been, had they or any of them been born in lawful wedlock, so far as regards the estates of their respective reputed fathers.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and after the passing of this act, the name of Georgia Caroline Pickard, be, and the same is hereby changed to that of Georgia
Sec. 3. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That the name of James T. Herring of Emanuel county, be changed to James T. Powell, and the name of James Allen of Wilkinson county, be changed to that of James W. Swint,and the name of Mary Ann Lee to that ofMary Ann Solomons.

Type: AN ACT,
Full Title: To legitimatize, and change the name of William Short, of Cherokee county, to that of William W. Willson, and to change the name of John Robison to that of John Anderson, andMartha Ann Hughes, to that of Martha Ann Bush.
Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by that authority, That from and after the passage of this act, the said William Short, shall be called and known by the name of William W. Willson, and that he is hereby, completely and fully, legitimatized and entitled to all the rights and privileges that he would have had, if he had been born in lawful wedlock, and capable of taking and inheriting & receiving all manner of property, by virtue of the statute of distributions of this State, as far as relates to the estate of his reputed father, James Willson, of the county of Cherokee: Provided, nothing in this act, shall be so construed as to authorize the aforesaid person, to inherit, to the exclusion of other children of the said James Willson, who have, or may hereafter be born in lawful wedlock.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted, That the name of John Robison, of Cherokee county, be changed to that of John Anderson.
Sec. 3. And it is also enacted by the authority of the same, That Martha Ann Hughes, is legitimatized, and her name changed to that of Martha Ann Bush, and that she is hereby completely and fully legitimatized, & entitled to all the rights & privileges, that she would have had, if she had been born in lawful wedlock, and capable of inheriting and receiving, all manner of property, by virtue of the statute of distributions of this State, as far relates to the estate of her reputed father, Samuel J. Bush, of Wilkinson county: Provided, nothing in this act, shall be so construed, as to authorize the aforesaid person, to inherit, to the exclusion of other children of her reputed father, who have been, or may hereafter be born in lawful wedlock.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and immediately after the passage of this act, the said John Herindon shall be known in law, by the name of John Brown, any law, usage or custom to the contrary notwithstanding.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That the names of John McCullar and Tabitha McCullar, of Wilkinson county, be changed to that of John Allen and Tabitha Elizabeth Allen, and in future to be known and called by those names.

Section 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia, in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That from and after the passage of this act, the name of Samuel Fleetwood be, and the same is hereby, changed to that of Samuel Thomas Player, and that of Rocelia Johnson, be, and the same is, hereby changed to that of Rocelia Weeks, of Wilkinson county; and to change the names of Thomas Jefferson Benson, and Alefair Benson, both of Pulaski county, to that of Thomas Jefferson McGriff, and Alefair McGriff; as such they shall be known and called in law, and that they are hereby declared to be fully and completely legitimatized, and entitled to all the rights and privileges that they would have been had they been born in lawful wedlock, and be fully capable of taking and inheriting all manner of property, so far as relates to the estate, both real and personal, of their reputed fathers.
Sec. 2. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That the name of John M. Tootle, of the county of Tatnall, be changed to that of John M. Stephens.

Full Title: AN ACT to change the names of certain persons therein named, and to legitimatize the same.
Sec. 5. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That the name of George Washington Terry, of the county of Wilkinson, be changed to that of George Washington Graves, and be made the adopted son of Richard Graves, of Wilkinson county, and be capable in law to inherit and take by decent from the said Richard Graves, his adopted father, and entitled to all the privileges to which he would have been, were he the natural son of Richard Graves.
Sec. 13. And be it further enacted by the authority aforesaid, That all laws and parts of laws militating against this act, be, and the same are hereby repealed.

Full Title: AN ACT to alter and change the name of Robert Fenn, formerly of Clarke, now Wilkinson county, to that of William Robert Fenn; also, the name of William O'Neal, of Lowndes county, to that of William Lindsey, and to legitimate and change the names of certain persons therein named.
WHEREAS, William was the given name of the father of the said Robert Fenn, and said father having [Illegible Text] son by the name of William, and said Robert being anxious to have and receive the given name of his said father --
SECTION I. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of Georgia in General Assembly met, and it is hereby enacted by the authority of the same, That the name of Robert Fenn is hereby altered and changed to that of William Robert Fenn.
SEC. II. And be it further enacted, That the name of William O'Neal, of Lowndes county, be changed to that of William Lindsey.
SEC. III. And be it further enacted, That the name of Mary Ann Jane Perry, be changed to Mary Ann Jane Kemp, and that she shall be entitled to inherit any portion of the estate of James Kemp, of Muscogee county, as [Illegible Text] as if she was his natural and legal child. And that an orphan boy, now under the protection of Robert Kyle, which child has no name, and whose parents are unknown, be made and established the lawful heir of the said Robert Kyle, and be known and called by the name of Benjamin Allen Kyle.
