The church building  was bought and removed to 1475 Sandy Springs Rd. and used as a residence by Harold  & Louise Boucher.

      Victor Davidson in The History of Wilkinson County says the church "was organized by Charles Culpepper and Rev. Shirley. The first meeting house was built at the cemetery one mile west of Toomsboro on Hwy. 57 but later moved to it's present location on Old Balls Ferry Road.

    Orginally a member of the Hepzibah Association, it united with the Ebenezer Association in 1818, later united with Primitive Baptist Ebenezer Assocation."
