p. 47 Issue of 20 Mar 1811--"Georgia. Baldwin County. William M'CRARY came before me ... saith that he did sometime past trade for a note on John MANDERSON, given to John LOVE, and endorse to John PAUL ... has lost or mislaid the said note ... Sworn to this 9th of March, 1811. /s/William M'CRARY and Wm JOHNSTON, J.P."

p.49 Issue of 3 April 1811--"Twelve months after date, I promise to pay Levin CATHEL or bearer one hundred dollars for the hire of a negro fellow one year; signed John H. MANDENER [sic?], endorsed by the signer, endorsed by Levin CATHEL, endorsed by T. H. PORTER, and endorsed by Henry DARNELL to Jacob MORDECAI. I have lost the note above described, and I hereby forwarn the maker and endorsers against paying it to any person but myself." /s/ Jacob MORDECAI

p.74 Issue of 25 Dec 1811 "Lost on the road from Milledgeville ... a red morocco pocket book containing three notes on Micajah DIXON ... and one other note on Micajah HISTER ... and an order on John MANDERSON.  Any person who may find said property return it to me or to William BIVINS, esq., near Lewis's mills Wilkinson County shall be handsomely rewarded for their trouble. /s/ Ben LANCASTER
