I, James Temples, Sr. of the State and County, being of sound and disposing mind, do make this my last will and testament.
ITEM 1.  My will and request is that my just debts be paid; my body to be buried in a decent and Christian-like manner.
ITEM 2.  My will and request is my son James Temples Jr. has had of my estate $800 in land and that makes his entire interest of my estate.
ITEM 3.  My will and request is that my daughter Martha Criswell and her husband, Caswell C. Criswell, are to have my entire estate, including all my lands, stocks of all kind, household and kitchen furniture; all farming tools and including buggy, cash, gun, watch, money, notes and accounts; all my crops and interest in crops of all kinds; all of my bee hives and all other property belonging to me, not mentioned.
ITEM 4.  My will is that my granddaughter, Amanda, is to have $145 to be paid out of my estate by Executor Caswell C. Criswell.
ITEM 5.  My will is that my granddaughter Elizabeth C. Criswell is to have seventy five dollars to be paid out of my estate by Caswell Criswell.
ITEM 6.  I also appoint and make Caswell Criswell, Executor of this my last will and testament.
