South of Toomsboro. Organized 1837

     Organized as New Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church.  Early members: Samuel Brady, J. A. Chambers, Joel Deese, J. B. Duggan, Harvey Freeman, William Garrett, John Holder, Britton Horne, Green B. Hughs, minister, J. H. Lord, J. W. Lord, Henry Messer, a minister, H. Miller, J.I. D. Miller, Bentley Outlaw, J. A Robertson, Moses G. Sutton, M. J. Thompson, B. D. Walker, James Wright.  Wilkinson County Georgia Historical Collections, Joseph Maddox.

  In 1852 there were 48 members, 3 were saved that year and J. Wright was the pastor.  American Baptist Register, for 1852 by John Lansing Burrows.
