In the name of God Amen. I Avarilla Albritton
of the State and County above written being very weak and sick in body but
of perfect mind and memory Thanks be to God calling unto mind the mortality
of my body and knowing that it is appointed for all to die, do make &
ordain this my Last Will & Testament; That is to say principally &
first of all I give, and recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God
that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in a decent
Christian burial, nothing doubting but at the general Resurrection I shall
receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such wordly
estate wherewith it has pleased God to blefs (bless) me with this in my life
I give. devise & dispose of the same in the following manner & form.
First I give and bequeath to my son Wm Albritton
one bay horse - one two year old filly - one cow & yearling and my stock
of sheep & hogs, and one featherbed and furniture and all my household
furniture and what is coming to me from the estate of any by him freely to
be popefsed (possessed) of and I do hereby disallow, revoke and disannul
all & every other former Testaments, Wills, legacy, bequeaths by me in
any wise before named Willed and bequeathed, ratifying & confirming this
& no other to be my Last Will and Testament in witnep (witness) whereof
I have herunto set my hand and seal this seventh day of April in the year
of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred & seventeen.
