Illustrations on Sampler
On the left side of the Sampler is a tree. Under the tree on the left is a chicken and on the right side is a dog. There is a bowl of fruit directly under the tree.
On the right side of the Sampler is another tree on the left side of the tree stands a bride holding a bouquet, on the left appears the name Thomas Brown (I assume this was her boyfriend at the time).
Directly under the tree is a bowl of fruit.
In the center of the Sampler is a house which I assume is Evelinas home. At the foot of the steps going up to the house are two geese.
On the left side of the Sampler at the bottom is a box with the initial T with three cross stitches following.
On the right side of the Sampler at the bottom is a box with the initials E B for Evelina Brooking, the creator of the Sampler.
At the very bottom on the left appears the name of Thomas Brown again (I assume this was her boyfriend).
At each corner of the Sampler, there appears to be a rose with stem and leaves.
