N. C. Weeks, 78, died November 21, 1950 in Gilmer County, East Ellijay, GA. A native of this county and a retired lumberman, Mr. Weeks spent the greater portion of his life in East Ellijay. He was a member of Watkins Memorial Methodist Church and a Mason. He is survived by his wife, the former Miss Lorena Foster; daughters, Mrs. Ethel Jacobs, Mrs. Maude Gantt and Miss Belle Weeks; son, Benton Weeks; brothers, Cliff and Ralph Weeks; sister, Mrs. Robert James. Funeral services were held November 23, 1950 at Watkins Memorial Methodist Church with Rev. C. B. Cochran and Rev. Geo F. Erwin officiating. Burial was in East Ellijay Cemetery with Masonic honors. Logan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
