Laura BISHOP, 80, died December 24, 1954 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Joe Crowe in Cartersville, GA. A native of Gilmer County, Ellijay, GA, she was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Levi Greer who were among the early settlers of Gilmer and long prominent in Ellijay. She was a member of the Methodist Church and had made her home in Cartersville for many years. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Lark E. Bishop. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Joe Crowe and Mrs. Harry Aranoff; sons, Alfred and LaFayette Bishop; sister, Mrs. E. F. Waters; brother, Mr. Frank Greer. Funeral services were held at the Methodist Church in Cartersville on December 26, 1954 with the Rev. Harold Cochran officiating. Burial was in the Cartersville Cemetery.
